Navy’s First Riverine Squadron Deploys

These men have been in training for about a year, and they are very anxious to put their training to work. They have gone from the ocean to the river, hence the name, "Riverenes" (RIVRON). This is the first time since Viet Nam (which we won on the ground. It was public opinion that was spoon fed to the people WRONGLY that defeated us. Yes, we beat ourselves. Do not allow this to overtake now...) that we have used this tactic.
