Coalition Forces Kills 20 Enemy Fighters

BAGRAM AIR BASE, Afghanistan – Afghan and Coalition forces killed 20 enemy fighters during a battle in southern Afghanistan on Friday.

About 50 fighters attempted to ambush the joint force while conducting a patrol in the Cahar Cineh District in Uruzgan Province. Afghan and Coalition forces repelled the attack with small arms, killing 20 extremists. [continue reading]
