NGAUS Legislative and Notes: 2/2/2007

I would like to express my gratitude and sympathy to the family and friends of former NGAUS President Lt. General (Mo.) Charles M. Kiefner. He was the president of NGAUS from 1988-1990. He was also Missouri Adjuctant General from 1973-1977 and 1981-1993. He passed away Saturday, January 28, 2007 in Dothan, Alabama. He was 76 years old.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the either the National Guard Educational Foundation (www.ngef.org) or the Missouri Military Family Relief Fund (www.mmfrf.mo.gov).
