A Man with Insight and Foresight

I would like to introduce you to a REAL man over at Blackfive's:
...I do apologize for my lack of emails lately. It has been difficult for me to sit down and rationally discuss the situation here in Baghdad without losing my professional bearing as I begin to think about the absolute and utter nonsense that is pouring out of our Congressional leaders. My Mother always told me if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Oh well.

I was absolutely disgusted by the comments made by Sen Reid (D). When I read his comments in the Stars and Stripes newspaper, I was enraged. How can someone with his position and power openly undermine the war efforts and what I am doing. For many in the states, it may be a simple little issue of him saying we have already lost. Unfortunately, the insurgency took this as a HUGE propaganda victory. Simply look at the latest news reports from Al-Qaida's number 2, al-Zawahri. To think Al-Qaida wasn't ecstatic to hear this kind of rubbish coming out of our Congress is absolutely absurd. [Continue reading.]
I hope you're proud, you little weasel. Don't tell me you support them. They KNOW the real deal, and you are NOT it, Mr. Reid.

Did sKerry & Hairy tell Casey to shut down Milbloggers?

OPSEC ordered Milblogs to be scrutinized by their superiors before being posted for content on April 19, 2007. What happened around 4/19? There are three separate events that took place.

First, Pelosi went to Syria without permission in order to embarrass the president and destroy our foreign policy. I wrote about this on the 5/1 and published a cartoon on 4/16, but Farid Ghadry wrote about this on April 5th. CounterTerrorismBlog beat us all to the punch with this article: Now let's get serious about Syran and Congress. (I wrote that, but I give the link to the article.)

Second, Reid claimed that our troops were losing. USN Lt. Nichols wrote a letter to Reid. This was on the 21 of April. In order to have written that letter and sent it, it must have taken more than two days. Therefore I am concluding that Hairy made that statement that 'We have lost' the war in Iraq before the 19 of April. Crotchety Old Bastard also graced us with his everlasting wit about Reid.

Last but not least, there is the issue of allowing the Islamists to get their word out while shutting down the moderate Muslim with OUR tax dollars. Ask Frank Gaffney how that went over. (This was written 4/10.) I know I was calling, and I made myself perfectly clear that they were standing in the way of progress in this war of ideas.

We must all stand together, no matter what your views on this world wide war. Censorship is wrong no matter it is found.

The troops already know their perimeters, so what they are trying to do is to be politically correct. They are now trying to shut down any debate in the ranks, while it is still popular to call our president Hitler. Maybe if politicians had to live by the same rules they wish to impose on the rest of us...never happen!

I'm sure there are many who can put their words together much better than I when angry, but I must remember, with faith, the power of You and Me! Call your congressperson and senators toll free at 866-340-9281 and POLITELY give them a piece of your mind. Let's get this thing turned around!

UPDATE: OMG! I was so upset I forgot to let you know where I found out about this. Over at Blackfive's, there are many sites that are already commenting and writing about this. Please go over there and see for yourself. I'm sure they did a better job than I.

Arkin claims: Polarized and hate-filled America

Last week I wrote a small article about the situation with Arkin and his poorly written accusations against our Military that Arkin attempted to bring to the so-called 'discussion of ideas' table. I did not say much at that time, even when he had tried so woefully to apologize; however I will not stand by and allow anyone claim that if you respond to that which is appalling in itself by using words, you are invalid. I don't believe Arkin has thicker skin than mine, and I'm not even getting paid!

The people who responded to Arkin, and they are being belied for speaking back about this 'person' and his hate-filled spew of insults which he wrote about in the Washington Post about our Military. Does he not understand that if it were not for these brave men and women, he would have been executed for writing against his new Sharia president and government? No, I guess he has no respect for those of us who properly stand by our Military, regardless of the politics.

Since when, besides John Kerry's Viet Nam, have we tried to decimate our president while we have men and women on the ground fighting the battles of this war they (mostly ALL) voted for them to do? Regardless of party. What happened to, "The partisan politics stop at the waters edge"? After all, we are all Americans first.

If the Senate and Arkin want to assault our brave men and women while there is absolutely no way for them punch your lights out, figuratively of course, then the people that are at home supporting these brave people will do so for them.

I do not want anyone getting nasty. That will get us nowhere, and it will not persuade the offender to rethink his obnoxious remarks. If you want to help by commenting to this offender, please be polite, concise and helpful. Point out your disagreement with him in a civilized way. After all, isn't that all we are asking of him? Have a great day.

Here you can read his latest article at the Washington Post which sees no reason to relieve him of his duties.

Not One Bloody Red Cent

There is a non-binding resolution that some Republicans believe means not a thing. Au contraire. It does mean that they are sending our young men and women into a war they do not support. It means they resoundingly voted for General Petraeus to be the man in charge of this new move forward, after he informed them that this non-binding resolution would get more of them killed. It would embolden our enemies.

Do they believe they know more than he? Do they really not want our men to die? Do they really support the troops? I say, "Hell no, they don't."

That is why I signed the petition that Hugh Hewitt and NZ Bear have created. I urge you to do the same. After you have done so, please call your Senators! Also, call Senators McConnell, Lott and Kyl at 202-225-3121. Let them know they will lose your vote and your dollars, and tell them why.

Don't forget to call Sen. Ensign. He is the Chairman of the Republican National Committee, and you will find him at 202-675-6000. Let him know he will not be receiving one bloody red cent because he is going to continue supporting people who vote for this evil thing.

Here is the name of some of the Senators who we may be able to be persuade through calm, serious and thoughtful discussion. Minnesota's Norm Coleman, Maine's Susan Collins and Oregon's Gordon Smith. They will likely be convinced to rethink possible support against the resolution in the light of the Petraeus testimony and the president's speech Tuesday. Senator Coleman's office number is (202) 224-5641. Senator Smith's office number is (202) 224-3753. Senator Collins' office number is (202) 224-2523.

We may not be able to change this Senator's mind, but you can reach Senator Collins' at: (202) 224-2523. She can also be e-mailed here.

We are at war. We should all be Americans, but the Democrats want this to be Viet Nam. The Republicans do not have a spine. We have witnessed this for the past 6 years. That is why we lost some very capable justices, tax cuts, energy bills, etc. This one, this non-binding resolution, is a hill I am prepared to die on.

I wish President Bush has the steel for them as he has for our troops. That is behind us now. These so-called Senators say you must know when it is important enough to for you to fight. If we do not fight back now, we are letting our troops down. I cannot stand for this. Neither should you. Thank you.

Update: Does anyone the 14 members who basically stopped the Senate from bringing forth any judges worthy of the Supreme Court or Appeals Court? Well, he's at it again. McCain has just made the announcement that he will work with Democrats (Carl Levin) to give Gen. Petraeus and PM Maliki 'benchmarks'! How dare he!

The good General is not even over there yet, and they've are already trying to tie his hands before he gets there. They claim it is for oversight. Barbara Striesand. They just voted overwhelming for him, and he is favor of President Bush' plan! God, I thought we had only one Commander-in-Chief.

Update 2: Newest post.

Update 3: A friend of mine is having an open trackback weekend. The name of his site is Church and State. He has many incredible articles over there. (No, not sermons. God, you people are weird! lol.) Have a good night.
